Isle Ballastas, the poor man’s Galapagos and a night in the desert


Driving south again we took a boat at Paracas to the Ballastas Islands to see amazing wildlife and then onto the desert for Dune Buggy rides, sandboarding and a night out under the stars.

    What a contrast to the mountain trek. Is that the Atacama Desert? Btw Tim, the Grizzly Adams’s look is coming on.
